A meeting schedule for The Long Island Harmonica Club with dates, times, and locations listed under a silhouette of a person playing harmonica.

The Long Island Harmonica Club was organized over forty years ago by a small group of harmonica enthusiasts . Over the years it has evolved into a vibrant organization with active membership numbering over fifty at its peak. The founders of the club were all very fine players and felt the need to get together and share their playing skills and knowledge with each other. The club grew in size attracting new members who shared similar interests in playing the chromatic harmonica. As the club grew it evolved into a performing ensemble, The Long Island Harmonica Club Band, Inc. The original roster of names included some very famous professional players and advanced amateurs. In its present form the club meets twice a month for rehearsal and once a month for the business meeting- The band has consistently averaged between 35 to 40 gigs a year.

About Us

Rising Tide is the vision of combat veteran and therapist Lawrence Keating. Rising Tide Habilitation Services officially opened its doors at 225 Montauk Highway, Unit 112 in Moriches, NY on April 4, 2025.

Larry, like many of the men and women he works with, is a Viet Nam Vet, having served from 1966 -1969.  Also, like so many he serves, Larry came home dealing with the demons of war.  Alcohol and drugs seemed the only answer and he fell victim to their call.

Fortunately, Larry was able to accept the help of his wife, Diana, and others in overcoming his addictions. Realizing that his experiences could help others that found themselves in addictive situations, Larry re-focused his career to help those with alcohol and drug addictions.
